Overview

The CLG Committee is appointed by the Sublette County Commissioners and serves as our historic preservation experts. A CLG is a City or County that is certified by the State Historic Preservation Office and the National Park Service as a community with historic preservation commitments. CLGs are eligible for matching grants to carry out preservation activities.

The CLG program seeks to:

  • Develop and maintain local historic preservation programs that will influence the decisions critical to preserving a sense of time and place through historic properties
  • Ensure the broadest possible participation of local governments in the national historic preservation program

We meet the 4th Tuesday of every month, alternating between the Pinedale Library Board Room and the Southwest Sublette County Pioneers Senior Center in Marbleton, in the board room at 3:00PM. January, March, May, July, September and November meetings are at the Pinedale Library.  February, April, June, August and October meetings are at the Marbleton Senior Center.  There is no meeting in December.  The public is welcome to attend.
