Job Type:        Full-Time Civil Deputy County and Prosecuting Attorney

Salary:             $65,000 -$92,000 Depending On Experience


Position Summary:


The full-time position entails representing Sublette County and its affiliated departments in civil matters, as well as providing legal advice to elected officials and other members of county government. Duties shall include but are not limited to attendance at meetings held by the Sublette County Board of Commissioners and the Planning and Zoning department, serving as primary counsel in defending the County in various civil litigation matters, reviewing and drafting contracts and leases, and addressing wage claims referred by the Department of Labor. Representation in Title 25 cases and appearances in criminal matters may also be required.  The anticipated starting date for the position is immediate. Minimum Requirements:


Candidates must be admitted to and in good standing with the Wyoming State Bar.  Responsible legal experience in government and civil law preferred, and candidates must have a commitment to professional excellence and high ethical standards.
